In 1911 Robert Kelsey, aged 29, lived in two rooms at 35 Bellamy Street, Balham, south London with his wife Edith, 30. Robert was a hosier's shop assistant, born in the East End of London (St George's in the East). Edith was from Burgess Hill, Sussex. The couple had been married for less than a year.
