At the southern end of Loch Neagh, in County Armagh, I found the only cider maker around. From his orchard thick with Bramley Seedling, Philip Troughton has been making Carsons cider in Portadown for the past few years. And a very tasty cider it was. When I last spoke with Philip he was in the middle of installing a new cider house in his facility, let's hope it all works out!
