Joe Montgomery

Joe Montgomery began playing trumpet at "ripe" age of 10. An alumni of Los Angeles City College and Chico State University, Joe has played in many bands, including the new wave group, Oingo Boingo,

In addition to music, Mr. Montgomery has had an amazing career behind the camera. Now a retired motion picture cameraman, Joe spent 5 years on assignment with National Geographic's explorer series, discovered Inca mummies at over 20,000 feet in Peru, served as White House cameraman for President Reagan, and worked with Blake Edwards (director of the Pink Panther movies). Mr. Montgomery also has the distinction of being the first civilian to break the sound barrier (in an F-16), interviewing Chuck Yeager.

And Joe's current asperations? "I just want to be a Jazz musician."
