Dan Applebay

Dan Applebay has played sax for over 50 years, most of which were on baritone sax. He has performed in concert & marching bands, sax quartets, and various big bands. Dan is a founding member of the Central City Swing Big Band, and previously played in JP's Swing Band and the Rose Garden Swing Band (both at Madonna Inn). Dan has played praise & worship music at Pacific Christian Church. Dan is recently retired from Vandenberg Air Force Base, with over 38 years as an Engineer & Program Manager for the Air Force and main range contractor. He was born in Santa Barbara and graduated college at Cal Poly SLO.
