Kent Anderson

Valve trombonist, Kent Anderson, first picked up a horn in Jr. High. Now 60 years later he's still playing, ("...not as well as I should", he says with a smile, "given all the years I've had to practice"). Since retiring to San Luis Obispo, he has become an active member of four bands, including Central City Swing. His favorite style is bebop, but will play in any jazz group "that will have [him]".
