Kevin Wilde has been playing trumpet and flugelhorn most of his life. While still in his teens, Kevin performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival in the 1971 High School All-Star Band. After graduating from CSU Northridge (where Mr. Wilde played lead trumpet in Joel Leach's A Band), Kevin performed with numerous bands and artists including Bill Watrous' Wildlife Refuge West, Nancy Wilson, Tito Puente and Celia Cruz, Barry Manilow, Engelbert Humperdinck, Manhattan Transfer, Gino Vannelli, Four Tops, The Temptations and many others.
A California native, Kevin currently resides in Arroyo Grande with his wife of 44 years. When not playing with Central City Swing, he keeps tabs on his 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
