Educator Plans
• outline the actions that the educator (and evaluator) will perform during the course of the plan and
• describe the benchmarks for measuring progress towards achieving the goals (Professional Practice and Student Learning) that were set.
There are 4 types of educator plans:
Educators in their first few years of service in Cambridge (or who have changed assignments)
• Educators new* to Cambridge.
• Experienced* Educators with changed assignments.
• Administrators new* to Cambridge (Fewer than 3 years)
Experienced* Educators or Administrators who were rated "Proficient" or "Exemplary."
• Length of plan can vary based on the Rating of Impact on Student Learning.
NOTE: At this time, no experienced educator or administrator has a Rating of Impact on Student Learning because the district has "de-emphasized" DDMs. There should be no experienced educators or administrators on 1 Year Self Directed Growth Plans.
Experienced* Educators or Administrators who were rated "Needs Improvement."
Experienced* Educators or Administrators who were rated "Unsatisfactory."
