The district has agreed to create a committee to design and implement a voluntary pilot of a Teacher Assistance Team. The concept is to create a support structure for our members run by our members. It would be entirely voluntary, but it will set the stage for possible expansion into a Peer Assistance and Review program. We have done some exploratory work with the district around this possibility, but will need to have many more conversations with members before we would move forward with this on a larger scale.
