BSDRA Westerns 2022 Report

The BSDRA Western Championship took place at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club under glorious sunshine and around 10 knots of breeze. Eight teams raced in the Firefly fleet, with six in the Fevas. Racing continued all day, with both fleets completing two full round robins.

The Feva fleet was dominated by Winchester College, who lost only one of their ten races. Embley School were a clear 2nd, winning 8 races with two losses, whilst the a tight battle for 3rd was eventually claimed by The Gryphon team, also representing Embley School.

In the Firefly fleet Claires Court School were the clear winners, with 13 races wins to one loss. A tight battle for 2nd was won by RGS Green, just ahead of Clifton College in 3rd.
