Because a property's notes are created on many different sub tabs throughout the system, it is important to know how to view them all in one place. The Note Search feature allows you to accomplish this. You can also use this feature to run a key word search through all of a property's notes.
If you wish to view information on how to run a system wide search for notes across ALL properties, click here.
Searching All Notes Attached to a Property
To view all of a property's notes:
1. From the open property, click the Notes sub tab on the left-hand side of the screen. The following screen will appear:
2. Click the Search All Property Notes check box. Broker Brain will immediately display ALL notes attached to the property. Notes will display in order of the date they were added, with the most recent note appearing first. A brown box at the right side of the screen will indicate which sub-tab contains the note, as shown below. Any attachments that were added to the note will display as well.
Important:
Notes can be emailed, edited, and deleted from here. You can also add an attachment to a note from here. These functions can be done from any Notes tab in any section of Broker Brain, and all sections function the same. For more detailed instructions, click here and then select the Help sub page you need.
To view only notes created in the Notes subtab, uncheck the Search all Property Notes check box.
Note: You can use the Search feature to view all of the attachments you have added to a property; however, they will be displayed in the order they were added into Broker Brain. To view a comprehensive list of all documents added into Broker Brain, ordered by the tab in which they were added, click on Documents>All Attachments.
