Creating Auto Tasks using a Start Task Plan

1. The first step is to create a top level task that will automatically generate the next task linked to it. To do this, create a task with the Type field set to Start Task Plan. Note: For more information on creating tasks, see Adding a New Auto Task.

2. Once you have made a top level task, create the next task that should occur. To link this task to the top level task, click the drop-down box in the Auto Task Completed field. You will see the task you created in step 1, along with all other created tasks, as shown below. Select the top level task.

3. Set all other characteristics of the task as needed, then click the Add button to create the task.
