A New Enlightened Age
Earth's ageing tenants with dim lit eye
Sensing now their time is nigh
When speeches eloquent and fair
Can no longer keep them where
A thousand memories with loud lament
Inform them that their time is spent.
And nature foreseeing their demise
Will first their old ideas revise
And whisper into the hearts of younger men
That things must change, how soon and when.
Yet many will cling to the old ways past
Which in a new enlightened age can't last.
A greater harmony by war unstained
Will infuse the hearts of men unchained.
From South to North, from West to East
On doe-eyed peace all eyes will feast.
Yet for some she'll be an alien guest
And a quick removal will be their quest.
She however in the hearts of men confiding
Will prepare the way for a great dividing
And with her usual dedication
Begin the process of man's mutation.
Truth and justice to be built in,
Each new-born child G-d's bulletin.
Upon this change and looking aghast
Age prophysises this can't last.
Yet 'ere two thousand years may pass away
A new mankind on Earth holds sway
And in this garden once man's grave
He'll rule again who died to save.
