Sometimes little additions can make big differences in comfort. These mods took place in late July 2011.
I got this black leather lace-on steering wheel cover by Superior from Amazon. The cover comes with 2 laces, 2 needles, and instructions. It took a long time to install it (since it requires threading the needle and lace thru the holes, all around the inside diameter of the steering wheel cover) but the cover feels great and it does not slip.
I never liked the hard door armrests so I made these armpads. I cut a computer keyboard gel wrist rest in half, trimmed it to shape, wrapped the raw end in plastic, then covered it with black cloth. I used a hot glue gun to secure the cloth to itself on the underside, then attached the finished pad to the door using double-sided foam tape. This is the driver's door, I did the same for the front passenger door.
