28th September 1992Along with Chris, Gaby made up the original presenting team. She was told that she had the job just two weeks before broadcast date which is probably why her face was never with Paula, Chris and Bob's on the Snap Cackle Pop logo.
Gaby trained at the Guilford School of Acting for three years and was lucky to get a job on the 'super channel' hosting Hippo straight away. She left Hippo and went to join Andy Crane, Neil Buchanan and Steve Johnson hosting the ITV Saturday morning kids show Motormouth for three years, it was there she met her first husband Colin Peel.
She says one of the highlights of The Brekkie was when an old woman came up to her while shopping. "Oh you're off that new breakfast show, it's appalling, shouldn't be allowed." Then a week later she came up and said, "sorry about last time, I've been watching the show all week. I'm addicted, I love it."
After leaving The Big Breakfast in 1995 Gaby launched her own chat show on Channel 4 which critics slammed. Since then her career has begun to prosper. She has signed with BBC to host a variety of primetime shows including a documentary about Casualty & the Saturday night show Whatever You Want. In 2002 she returned to breakfast television with a magazine show about Wimbledon and is set to become the main face of BBC1's new breakfast line up.
In 2003 Gaby moved to five to host daily Big Breakfast-A-Like show Terry & Gaby, produced by Chris Evans and co hosted by Danny Baker. Sadly this show was axed in March 2004
Gaby sat in for Alan Carr on BBC Radio 2 on 15 & 22 August 2009 alongside Patrick Kielty and joined Alan to present a Christmas Party edition of his show on 24 December 2009. She was also a regular stand-in for BBC London 94.9, covering on occasions for Vanessa Feltz and JoAnne Good. She permanently replaced Good as co-host (with Paul Ross) of the BBC London 94.9 breakfast show from 11 January 2010.
Gaby now appears frequently on ITV1's This Morning show as one of their regular pool of News Review guests, usually featuring alongside her radio co-host Paul Ross. On 24th June 2010 it was announced that Roslin would also present a weekend music programme for BBC Radio Kent.
