My Cocktails

Here is a non-alphabetical list, in no chronological order, of my own cocktail recipes (p.s. its not all of them, but those which I can remember at the moment):

Katkariño.

24th of July, 2009.

2 shots Sagatiba Cachaca,
1 shot Blossom Honey,
1 shot Fresh Lemon Juice,
1/2 shot Strawberry Puree (Sundance).

Shake with ice, and then strain into chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with an Orange Twist.

My Bloody Mary (Subject to Change).

Into an empty rocks glass: Finely dice two slices of cucumber and a cocktail gherkin, plus a thumb-sized piece of celery, then pile it into a rocks glass. Add a heaped tablespoon of Nando's Peri-peri sauce, and 6 dashes of Worchestershire Sauce; And then squeeze the juice of half a fresh lime and half a lemon into the glass, Add salt and pepper to taste; Celery Salt as well; 35ml of chilled/ frozen vodka; Top with chilled Tomato juice, Stir thoroughly with a teaspoon; Serve.

Note: There must be no ice, and no straws for this drink; A teaspoon is allowed.

 
        Belladonna.
 
25ml Vodka,
25ml Fresh Lemon juice,
10ml Creme de Peche,
5ml White Peach Puree,
5ml Gomme Syrup;
 
Shake with ice, and then strain into icefilled tall glass; Top with sparkling wine; Garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.
 

Last Thursday's Mojito

25th April 2009.

50ml Appletons Extra Rum,
25ml Fresh Lime juice,
15ml Gum Syrup,
8 mint leaves.

Lightly muddle the mint with the syrup, add the rest of the ingredients, along
with lots of ice cubes; Top with CREAM SODA, and then stir the lot up with a
long spoon; Garnish with a mint sprig.    


Supremojito. 

50ml White Rum,

25ml Cointreau,
25ml Fresh Lime Juice,
8 Mint Leaves,
 

Lightly muddle the mint, and then add the rest of the ingredients, along
with lots of ice cubes; Top with Sparkling Lemonade, and then stir the lot up with a
long spoon; Garnish with a mint sprig, and a half-slice of Lemon.

The Victoria Martini.
Named after Victoria Hathaway Martini.
2 shots Gin, 
1 shot Apple Juice,
1/2 shot Apricot Brandy,
1/4 shot Sirop de Gomme,
Small handful of mint. 
Shake hard with ice, and then fine strain into a chilled martini glass.


The Enchantress.

9th of October, 2009.

35ml Absinthe,
15ml Apricot Brandy,
15ml Orgeat Syrup.
20ml Cream.

Shake hard with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled whisky glass; Garnish with an orange twist.


Princess Peach.

22nd of September, 2009.

50ml Haymen’s Old Tom gin,
15ml Creme de Peche,
10ml Peach Puree,
20ml Fresh Lime Juice,
5ml Blossom Honey,
8 mint leaves.

Shake hard with ice, and then double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with a lemon twist.


Dark and Fruity

Created in 2005.

2 shots Dark Rum (Myers),
3/4 shot fresh lime juice,
3/4 shot strawberry puree,
1/2 shot frais de bois (wild strawberry liqueur),
top with ginger beer.

Build over ice (in a hi-ball/ or poco grande), then stir thoroughly. Garnish with a lime wedge, and half a strawberry. Add two long straws.


Jungle Rocker.

50ml Sailor Jerry's,
25ml Passionfruit Puree,
15ml Creme de Banane,
10ml Gomme Syrup,
5ml Fresh Lime Juice.

Shake with ice, and then strain into a tall glass which is filled with crushed ice; Garnish with a mint sprig, and a blackberry..

Norsk Mulata/ Line Dancer.

Created during Xmas 2001.
50ml Aquavit,
25ml Creme de Cacao,
25ml Fresh Lemon Juice,

Shake with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a Lemon Twist.

Andean Breeze.

September 2009.

2 shots Pisco Brandy,
1 shot Fresh Lime Juice,
1 shot Ginger & Lemongrass Cordial,
2 shots Pineapple Juice.

Shake with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled tall glass; Garnish with a lime wedge, and a mint sprig.

Ladybird.

20ml strawberry puree,
10ml Passoa Passionfruit Liqueur,
5ml Vanilla Syrup,

Build in a champagne flute, and then top with sparkling wine; Squeeze zest from an Orange twist; Garnish with a slice of strawberry.

Grapefruit Mojito.

Created in 2005.

50ml Havana Club 3yo Rum,
15ml Orgeat Syrup,
10ml Fresh Lime Juice,
35ml Grapefruit Juice,
8 mint leaves.

Shake with ice, and then strain unfiltered into an ice-filled tall glass; Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.



Pineapple Mojito.

50ml Havana Club 3yo rum,
15ml Vanilla Syrup,
25ml Fresh Lime Juice,
35ml Pineapple Juice,
8 mint leaves.

Shake with ice, and then strain unfiltered into an ice-filled tall glass; Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.


Mirage Cocktail.
37.5ml La Fée Absinthe
17ml light/white crème de cacao (Chocolate Liqueur)
12.5ml Ginger Syrup

Shake hard with crushed ice, then strain through a sieve, into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist, which has been squeezed on to the surface of the drink.

Lush Martini.

4th of August, 2009.

50ml Sailor Jerry's,
25ml Passionfruit Puree,
10ml Creme de Banane,
5ml Gomme Syrup,
5ml Fresh Lime Juice.

Shake with ice, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with a flamed Orange twist.


Elizabeth, my dear.

50ml Luksusowa Vodka
50ml Cloudy Apple Juice
10ml Peach Puree
10ml Peach Liqueur
5ml Fresh Lime Juice

Shake with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled half-pint glass; Garnish with a quarter slice of orange, and a sprig of fresh Mint. Two Straws.

Corazon.

1st of August 2009.

50ml Vanilla Stolichnaya Vodka,
15ml Coco Lopez,
10ml Peach Liqueur,
50ml Apple Juice.

Shake with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled tall glass; Garnish with a lime wedge.

Pink Parrot.

29th of July, 2009.

50ml Cachaca,
15ml Coconut Cream,
15ml Strawberry Puree,
10ml Fresh Lime Juice,
15ml Passionfruit Puree,
50ml Pineapple Juice.

Shake with ice, and then strain into ice-filled tall glass; Garnish with a lime wedge, and a slice of strawberry.


Hazy Daze in Georgia.

2004.

2 shots Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey,
8 mint leaves,
3/4 shot fresh lime juice,
3/4 shot Orgeat Syrup,
1 shot Grapefruit Juice.

Shake hard with ice, then strain through a sieve into a hi-ball which is
filled with ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.


Georgia off my Mind.

2004.

2 shots Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey,
3/4 shot Passionfruit Syrup,
1 1/2 shots Pineapple Juice,
1 shot Raspberry Puree,
3/4 shot Fresh lime juice,
1 passionfruit (squeezed into the shaker).

Shake hard with ice, then strain through a sieve into a hi-ball which is
filled with ice. Garnish with half a passionfruit.



Fashionista.

2 shots Makers Mark Bourbon Whisky,
1 shot Passionfruit Puree,
1/2 shot Vanilla Syrup.

Shake with ice, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with a lemon twist.


Ginger and Lemongrass Julep.

Created by George Sinclair, in 2008.

60ml Makers Mark Bourbon Whisky,
20ml Ginger and Lemongrass Cordial (Bottlegreen),
8- 10 Mint Leaves,
2 Lemon Twists,

Into a tall glass or Julep cup: Muddle cordial with lemon twists, and then add the Bourbon Whisky and mint;
Fill glass/ cup with crushed ice, and then churn thoroughly; Garnish with a sprig of mint.



Queensberry Rules!

50ml Cariel Vanilla Vodka,
15ml Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur,
15ml Blackberry Puree,
15ml Raspberry Puree,
10ml Strawberry Puree.

Shake with ice, and then strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass; Garnish
with various berries.


La Gitana. [La Hitana].

25ml Krupnik, Polish Honey Liqueur,
15ml Creme de Figue,
25ml Fresh Lemon Juice,
10ml Gomme Syrup,
Glug of Eggwhite.

Shake with ice, and then strain over ice in a sling glass; Garnish with a
lemon twist.


Full Tilt.

35ml Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka,
a piece of lime, approx. 1/6 of a lime.
half a slice of a fresh pineapple,
10ml Passionfruit Syrup,
20ml Grapefruit Juice,
2 dashes of orange bitters.

Muddle the pineapple with the lime piece, in a shaker; Add other ingredients,
and then shake all with ice; Strain into a cocktail glass; Garnish with a
lemon twist.


Patron Saint.

50ml Patron Silver,
15ml Apricot Brandy,
10ml Fig Syrup,
20ml Fresh Lime Juice.
Glug of Eggwhite.

Shake with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass; Garnish with a flamed
orange twist.


Velvet Poncho.

35ml Cazadores Reposado,
25ml Chambord,
25ml Passionfruit Puree (Boiron),
10ml Vanilla Syrup (Monin),
10ml Fresh Lime Juice.

Shake with Ice, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass; Garnish with
half a passionfruit, which should float on the surface of the drink.


Wildflower.

35ml Sazerac Rye Whiskey,
15ml Creme de Abricot,
10ml Fresh Lemon Juice,
5ml Demerara Sugar Syrup,
6 Fresh Raspberries.

Muddle the Raspberries and Syrup in one half of a cocktail shaker, though not
too hard as you do not want to burst the seeds of the berries (this adds a
bitterness to the drink); Add the remaining ingredients along with plenty of
ice cubes; Shake and then fine-strain, through a tea-strainer, into a chilled
cocktail glass; Garnish with a lemon twist.


Super Baloo

35ml Manuka Honey Vodka (42 below),
10ml Chambord,
25ml Pineapple Juice,
3 wedges, equal to half a lime,
10ml Vanilla Syrup.

Muddle the lime and syrup in the bottom of a shaker, and then add ice cubes
and other ingredients; Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass; Garnish
with half a passionfruit, made to float atop of the drink.


Raspberry & Passionfruit Batida

50ml Cachaca,
50ml Pineapple Juice,
15ml Fresh Lime Juice,
15ml Raspberry Puree,
10ml Passionfruit Syrup,
half a passionfruit, squeezed into the shaker.

Shake with Ice, and then strain into an Ice-filled Collins glass; Garnish with a Lime Wedge and 2 raspberries on a clear plastic cocktail stick.


Grappaccino

50ml Grappa 
10ml Amaretto
10ml Sugar Syrup
1 strong Espresso

Shake with ice, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.


Figaro

37.5ml Manuka Honey Vodka,
12.5ml Creme de Figue (Fig Liqueur),
50ml Pineapple Juice,
1 whole passionfruit, squeezed into the shaker,
15ml Fresh Lime Juice.
Shake with Ice, and then strain into an Ice-filled Collins Glass; Garnish with a Mint Sprig.


Mont Blanc

Created in 2005.

1 shot Amaretto
1/2 shot Frangelico,
1/2 shot Galliano,
1 shot Cream,
1 shot Milk.

Shake with Ice, and then strain into a chilled Cocktail glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
nb. As the ingredients are mostly Italian, I have changed the name of this drink to "Monte Bianco".
