In the interest of safety and proper use of roadside parking, the following rules are promulgated:
- No car should be parked so as to block another vehicle or any driveway.
- Parking on the grassy road shoulders by residents or guests should be avoided, as the area of road shoulder public right-of-way adjoining each lot must be maintained by the respective homeowner. All 4 wheels of cars parked on Back Creek Landing roadways should be resting on a paved surface. Parking in such a manner can serve to restrict the driving lane passageway; but the benefits are slower, safer traffic, and a more visually pleasing and better-maintained streetscape and less landscape maintenance for homeowners.
- Bicycles, motorcycles, passenger vehicles and trucks, which are not otherwise classified as commercial vehicles or bear a "truck" tag may be parked on the driveways of lots within Back Creek Landing. Any vehicle having a rear bed, whether open or covered, and having either a rated capacity in excess of one ton or a gross vehicle weight in excess of 7000 pounds shall be classified as a "Commercial Vehicle" and shall be prohibited from parking anywhere within Back Creek Landing except within the garage of an Association Member. Trucks not in excess of one ton capacity and 7000 pounds gross vehicle weight may be parked within driveways provided that:
- The vehicles bear no commercial sign or commercial identification when parked on an owner's driveway.
- No stored materials or equipment extending above the sides of the truck bed shall be visible whenever such vehicle is parked within the Back Creek Landing.
- The vehicle must be of a size to fit within your garage. The parking of boats, trailers, campers, and the like outdoors on any lot or any street of Back Creek Landing is specifically prohibited unless special permission is granted by the Board of Directors.
- No driveway on any lot or any street within Back Creek Landing may be Used for outdoor storage. The Association's board, at its sole discretion, may designate other facilities for that purpose.
- No automobile or other vehicle will be permitted to be parked outdoors on any lot or on any street within Back Creek Landing unless it is licensed and in operation condition.
- Garage doors should be kept closed except when access to and from the garage is required.
