· Should BAS donate a Seestar to the Library?
We discussed difficulties of maintaining the telescope we gave to the library in December 2018, and the need to provide some sort of training (video or document) for borrowers who would use the scope. Denise mentioned that when she had talked to Melissa at the library (before Denise would submit another application for a library telescope) Melissa discouraged her from applying for another telescope because demand has fallen off considerably from what it was at first. (At first, they even had waiting lists to check it out!) We have deferred this idea for now until January. We could also loan out Club-owned telescopes to members, for practice in loaning out telescopes.
· Quick setup sign - corrugated A-Frame or Flag type?
For now, we agreed to try to get an A-Frame “Stargazing in Progress” sign made before the Oct. 4 Observe the Moon event. Craig is pursuing this.
Craig also mentioned possibly having a table cover made for our six-foot table. He showed a prototype design he made with the Milky Way in the middle. Estimated cost would be about $100.00.
· Status of storage options
No updates at the meeting, but the next day Eugene Kliewer reported that his pastor at the First Baptist Church had decided against allowing BAS to use available space there to store our equipment and materials.
Denise also mentioned that the NSN is going to stop shipping NSN kits for free after September 26. She and John G will arrange to go to our storage unit before Sept. 26 to see what is stored there.
· Locations for public star parties
We brainstormed possible locations for public star parties and came up with this list:

o Spirit Church?
o City Church?
o Sooner Park? (More lights added recently)

· Website
We had quite a bit of discussion about how to update and improve our current website. The result was a consensus of a majority of the Board that it is worth trying to hire a temporary media student from OKWU to work on this. Brian will talk with the Media professor about this possibility.
· Dewey Boys and Girls Club - Lights on Afterschool event, October 23.
We agreed to participate in this event.
· Post office box renewal:
We decided to do this for another year at $96.00.
· Woolaroc star party for Woolaroc members:
Brian has talked to Woolaroc about having this for members on October 30 from 8-11 p.m. We decided to do this.
