Inaugurated in 2020 by Barrett's Wessex and the Spanish charity Asenbar, World Barrett's Day is held annually on 16th May to raise awareness and educate people about the condition.
How to celebrate?
We suggest informal meet ups where possible for which we can provide helpful materials like posters and leaflets.
If you have the facilities and the funding, you may consider finding a suitable speaker.
Any events you arrange can be advertised on this page.

From Chris Robinson (Barrett's UK)
I will be meeting anyone who wants to drop in to chat about Barrett's on Thursday 14th May at Haskin's Garden Centre, Mansbridge Rd, West End, Southampton SO18 3HW at 3:00pm-4:30pm with free booklets.
If you've never been there before, on entering the venue, take the left path which leads to the restuarant where you'll probably find me round to the right.
