Linx

Awaiting some patients' accounts. In the meantime, these are some comments gleaned from social media comments from those who have had Linx.

"5 weeks post op and just did the follow up with the surgeon and everything looks great! No issues swallowing, nothing getting stuck, everything looks great! I feel so much better.
What I learned on the journey was to slow down, swallow and chew carefully, avoid gulping to avoid gas and keep to the soft, easily swallowed foods. I did eat hourly until probably last week and I think that was the true secret.
Now I'm weaning off of PPI that I have been on since the 90's and never thought that would be possible!"

" am now almost 9 weeks post after a very bumpy first month. I can say I am feeling so much better. No heartburn. Sleeping so much better. Eating is getting there. Still get things stuck but not like they were. I can clear it and keep on going. Have learned to eat slower and chew everything and take lots of breaks when when eating. I have realized this is a true lifestyle change."

"I am almost 4 months post op and have no heart burn, reflux or regurgitation since and no drugs. Yes, I have to be careful how I eat so I don't gag or choke on big bites but it was so worth it to have that horrible burning in my throat."

"I'm post linx 15 months. I'm having severe oesophagus spasms and can't swallow food."
