Locating Reliable Internet Sources

Google Scholar at http://scholar.google.com

1. To the right of the search box, click “Advanced Scholar Search”

2. Search using either “All of the words” or “At least one”

3. For the “Where my words occur” drop-down menu, select “In the title”

4. Limit the date if you wish

5. Search

6. Voila! Books and articles come up

7. Articles are accessible by clicking the links, which lead either to the pages where the articles are hosted or direct pdf downloads to your computer.

8. Print books are provided with citations so that you can locate them at the library. Some of the e-books that the engine may return are available for free, but most are restricted.
