If you wish to use materials at George Mason (GMU):
NOVA students have full in-person access and lending rights at GMU. You can walk into Fenwick library (the one for humanities, etc.) and use their books and periodicals freely. If you would like to check any books out, you will need to go to the circulation desk with your NOVA student ID, drivers' license, and a print-out from SIS of your course schedule (showing my class). Then you will be permitted to check out books for 3 weeks with one renewal.
Be sure to bring a credit card to pay for parking (Visa, MC), and bring cash for copies if you're going to find a journal article or book chapter. You will want to enter the campus through the entrance off of Braddock Rd., and park in the Mason Pond Parking Garage. It's a short walk through campus to Fenwick library. You simply go up the stairs, past the fountain, and make a left at the clock. Fenwick library is the first building on your right past the trees.
Feel free to ask me any questions you might have about using GMU's resources.
