Week 1's module is the odd one out, because you didn't start preparing for Wednesday's material last week. If you're confused by the module this week, things should clear up next week.

Deliverables:

1. In Blackboard: After reading the syllabus, complete the "Course Checklist and Agreement" quiz under the Bb Quizzes and Final tab.
   1. You will have two attempts for this quiz.
   2. You are permitted to consult the syllabus while taking the quiz.
2. In Blackboard: Take your weekly quiz before next class (12:30pm 3/21).
   1. Quiz 1 tests the key works and terms for Introduction and Prehistoric and the first two supplementary readings, not the Mesopotamian or Egyptian material.
   2. For all quizzes, you will have 20 minutes to complete the quiz in one sitting. Blackboard permits you to take more than 20 minutes, but for every minute over, one point will be deducted from your score.
   3. You will have two attempts for this quiz.
   4. This quiz and all subsequent quizzes are closed-book.
