Initial cost estimates believed by the Selectmen were $26,000 per year
I disputed that on the A-List - I figured it would take 1 guy 2 hours to plow the path - maybe $100 - for 7 storms per year - please see the attachment below from Oct 13 2007
Biking enthusiast Paolo Marinelli (and others) battled the Selectmen, and got them to agree to a trial
Selectman LaCourt mentioned the issue in her reelection advertisement (s)
2008 Town Annual Report says that plowing the Path is a tremendous success
Dec 2009 - Friends of the Path in Lexington are paying to plow the path, and volunteering to clear snow at some crossings were bullards cannot be removed
