November 16, 2009 - Selectmen voted to convert the Symmes Bond
Anticipation Notes (BANs)
to General Obligation Bonds.
What is the amount of the bonds? If Arlington bought Symmes for $7.1
million, and sold it to Fish for $6 million, does Arlington now owe
$1.1 million on Symmes? Or does Arlington owe $5 million on Symmes?
Why? How much does Arlington owe on Symmes? How much is on the tax
rate now?

to me
Mr. XX:
The Original BANs were approximately $12.6M.
The sale price reduced that debt.
The Bond issued December 9, 2009 for the Symmes site
project is for $5,262,000.
There is a current BAN on the second Symmes parcel in the
amount of $1,310,000.
$6.572M is the total debt.
This is not on the 2010 Tax Rate.
SIncerely,
Stephen
