The new hybrid workforce culture is really a telecommuting platform. Some days at home and some days in the office. However the pandemic contingencies will or may keep it as a hybrid model with it's flexibility policy if need activate.
The hybrid model allows for more flexibility in terms of coming to work if sick. There are usually strict guidelines in place mixing technology with human interaction security protocols.
The models allow more flexibility with commutes and possible extension of hours due to from a management perspective. I have not seen this model used that much with hourly employees, although as an enticement to return to office for special events or minimum requirements it has been an interesting endeavor.
The hybrid culture may end up being the new or future work culture standard for those with jobs that allow such flexibility. The leadership and management of these type of positions is yet to be determined and how they are managed is a continous work in progress.
