Stack Ranking Perform Stack ranking is critical to uncover the Low, Medium, and High performance areas of the operation. The data if including personnel, will also stack rank the employees. This is where the operations needs to define root cause for each sector and formulate and action plan to remedy the lower areas.
Performance Based Performance improvement is achieved when the statistical data shows a consistent upward trend over a period of time. Formulating an action plan to execute the improvement initiative for each sector should be defined by root cause. The main focus should be performance areas in the lower sector of the rank. Implementing a strategy to lift performance and reviewed real time. Depending on the operation, the tools and business partner provisions are critical to incorporate, especially if those groups or offices have input and influence on the lower scoring sectors.
Formulating a plan for performance improvement may have additional components that are not typically a KPI of the program or initiative. The plans may have other contributing factors that stem from behavioral modifications needed to process understanding and delivery. Their may be an entire group of individuals needing the same up training where coaching would be to process. Depending on the group or how it was derived determines strategy.
The final outcome revision is the area where one can focus on milestones and areas needing reinforcement or another method of correction in order to lift the stat. The strategy should be to lift the lower performing areas but not jeopardize what is already working. Continuous improvement is the path to better overall performance.
