In addition to the academic staff on your programme such as your Programme Leader and Module Convenors, the Department has a number of professional services staff committed to supporting you with your studies.
Programme Officer
Your Programme Officer can help with:
Resolving timetabling queries (such as clashes and seminar group allocation)
Assessment submission such as using Turnitin, authorising short extensions and providing resit information
Processing Change of Status forms (such as Leave of Absence, Withdrawal, Change of Programme, Repeat of Studies or Extension of Studies)
Completing Online Module Selection (OMS) and Online Module Choice (OMC) (UG and PGT students only)
NHS Bursary and Placement enquiries (MA Social Work students only)

Programme Officers are part of a wider team which includes the Student Experience Officer and the Learning and Teaching Manager. The Learning and Teaching Professional Services team ensures the successful delivery of all programmes and that students are receiving an excellent student experience during their studies with us in the Department.
