Get a Career Mentor

All UG and PGT students can benefit from a Career Mentor from the eMentoring Scheme. A Career Mentor is a Sheffield Graduate and can offer you:

• An insight into a job role

• Advice on recruitment processes

• Support with CV development, networking and getting ‘work ready’

Having a Mentor can also be helpful in discovering what career options are available to you by talking to someone in an employment setting.

Typically, you will have one exchange per week with your mentor for about 8 weeks and

communication is by email, video call or phone.

Apply to have a Mentor in the Autumn or Spring Semester of your academic studies.
