My name is Darcie Brennan. This is my 3rd year teaching 6th grade at Freedom 7 Elementary. This is my 12th year teaching. I have taught every level from VPK-6th grade. My favorite level to teach is sixth grade. I love building relationships and teaching my students how to be better human beings. My favorite thing to teach is our Exhibition unit. We are able to focus on life long skills that will help our 6th graders be successful when they leave our school. This year has been one of the best memories so far. I have enjoyed watching each of you overcome all obstacles and to come out on top. I hope you are all so proud of your hard work and enjoy having this website to share for years to come.
My name is Genevieve Lau-Owen, and I am so excited to be a part of the sixth grade team here at Freedom 7 Elementary! I taught fourth and fifth grades at Montessori Academy of Broward for five years before relocating to Brevard. I absolutely love the inquiry-based approach to learning that exhibition offers our sixth graders and my favorite part is seeing the growth and leadership that this process develops in our students. I am very passionate about sustainable development and could not be more thrilled at this opportunity to educate our future leaders to become responsible global citizens of tomorrow.
My name is Tracy Lally and this is my first year teaching at Freedom 7. It has been an amazing year! After receiving my B.A . from the University of Cincinnati, I earned my Masters in Education from Rollins College. I have been teaching at the elementary level in Brevard County for over 20 years, with 15 years experience specifically with 6th grade. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons who live in Nashville and Washington, DC. In addition I like to spend time at the beach, shopping at craft fairs and traveling.
