A Quality Education Leads to a Quality Future

SDG #4 is a very important goal. This SDG works to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The completion of this SDG is important because children with an education grow up to have good careers and can become very important to our society. We all chose this SDG because be believe that our SDG is important for the sustainability of everyone. We all believe that everyone should have access to a quality education, no matter who they are. As a group we picked this SDG because we all feel very fortunate to get such a good education, and we wanted to learn more about it to be able to help. We also want to learn about the reasons children don't have education so we can educate others.

Level 1 action
For our level 1 action, we created a short presentation for student about our SDG. We presented this to them in the cafeteria then we made a Kahoot they played to review the information they learned.
Level 2 action
For our level 2 action we volunteered at "Supply Zone for Teachers". There we packed online orders and got them all ready to be shipped out to title 1 schools. Supply zones goal is to provide the title one schools in Brevard with supplies student need..
Level 3 action - Aariv
I decided to make bookmarks and put them in the library. I made these bookmarks to help spread awareness about my SDG. I included 2 photos of education, a brief description of what the UN was, a fact about my SDG, and how they can help. Spreading awareness is a big important thing and I decided to do it by making bookmarks…! These bookmarks were also fun and would be amazing for kids to read and get information. They can donate by giving school supplies to Supply Zone for Teachers, and Supply Zone would donate the school supplies to teachers in need.
Level 3 action - Sophie
For my level 3 action I made flyers to put up at the business My family owns (cocoa beach aerial adventures) The flyer had a QR code that brought you to a page where you can help a child and read about kids with no education. The flyer also gave information on my SDG and the SDGs in general.
Level 3 action - Maren
For my level three action, I hosted a book drive throughout the school. I hung up posters talking about the goal of SDG 4, and my plans on where to take the books I collect. I collected a lot of books and donated them to Supply Zone for Teachers. Supply Zone for Teachers will then donate the books I gave them to the low-income schools in Brevard county.
Level 3 action - Greg
I volunteered to help teachers. I volunteer with the “Gift for Teaching” organization to collect surplus supplies from businesses to donate to schools. The place gave students school supplies. They gave it to only kids in need so they can go to school and get a good education.
