Hello, we are SDG 10. Our SDG is about reducing inequalities and discrimination within and among countries. Some reasons that we chose this SDG were to help eliminate unequal opportunities for all as well as discrimination against others. This goal is to ensure that we are all equal no matter our gender, race, disability, etc.
This SDG commits to empowering women, giving equal rights to any race, ensuring that disabled people have the same right, and promoting bills to all help make the world a better and more equal place for all no matter what.

Level 1 action
Our level one action we chose was to bring awareness to inequalities by making door posters explaining how and why you can be fair. In the photos that you see above are photos of our door posters.
Level 2 action
For our level 2 action, we volunteered at Neighbor Up Brevard. It’s a place that revitalizes communities that are in need because they are disadvantaged.We were excited when we got to the Outreach Center for Kids. It is a cheerful place full of friendly people. We could hear the other kids laughing and having fun. It’s a place for kids to go after school and during the summer. Anderson played football and basketball with the younger kids, while the others in the SDG group colored and talked with other kids there. The time went by quickly because we were having as much fun as the younger kids there. It was great to see how the neighborhood kids were helped out by having a safe place to play.
Level 3-Anderson
For my level 3 action, I wanted to explain what my SDG is, and educate people about inequalities. I did this by making a poster with facts about inequalities, pictures that helped explain my project, and a QR code. The QR code led to a video of me providing information about inequalities. I made a rough draft of my poster board and spoke with the librarian who agreed to allow me to display it in the library. I displayed it over the weekend with some books about inequalities for people who may want more information on the subject.
Level 3- Sadie
For my level 3 action I went to Surfinesta in cocoa beach. I put my flyers all over the place. Hopefully the people that eat there will see them and take them into account.
Level 3- Alexandria
For my level 3 action I made a video with drawings. I talked about what SDG 10 is, What types of inequalities there are and how we can help reduce inequalities. I also explained what the UN is and what the SDG’s are.
