SDG 15 is Life on Land. This SDG aims to protect plants, animals, and trees, on land. It tries to stop many things such as poaching, deforestation, and loss of biodiversity. If SDG 15 didn't exist then these things would have destroyed wildlife. Since SDG 15 does exist it is trying to do its best in stopping all the problems that could potentially affect wildlife and its ecosystems. SDG 15 is very important and more people should know about it.
Our central idea is that poaching and deforestation affect biodiversity.
An inquiry into how deforestation impacts animals' lives
An inquiry into poaching and how it affects the food chain
An inquiry into how animals maintain biodiversity.
For our level 1 action, we had to spread awareness to the school about our SDG. We made pots and painted them to relate to our SDG. We also created a video to go along with the plants instructing how to take care of them. After making our video we delivered them to other classrooms so they could plant seeds and take care of the plant. The picture for it is below.
For our level 2 action, we went to Erna Nixon Park. When we arrived a lady named Mrs. Cheryl greeted us and showed us what to do. We ended up cleaning up the butterfly garden. We picked up leaves, raked, and swept branches. Once we were done with our work we fed the animals of Erna Nixon park, There were four turtles and three snakes. Overall it was a fun experience. The pictures are below.
For my level 3 action I made a lyric video to a song and changed the words so, they relate to my SDG, and played the guitar chords to the song.

For my level 3 action I made flyers and put them up around my Tae-kwon-do and Erna Nixon Park.
The pictures are below.
For my level three action, I made bookmarks out of scrap paper that I gave out at the local library explaining what the SDGs are and what Life on land is about. On the back, I drew a picture showing biodiversity and labeled it.
