Subject to the provisions of Subdivision (11) of Subsection (b) of Section 1-210 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Seymour High School shall provide the same directory information and on-campus recruiting opportunities to representatives of the armed forces of the United States of America and the State Armed Services as are offered to nonmilitary recruiters, recruiters, recruiters for commercial concerns and recruiters representing institutions of higher education.
Military recruiters or institutions of higher learning shall have access to secondary school students’ names, addresses, and telephone listings unless a secondary student or the parent of the student requests that such information not be released without prior written parental consent. The Seymour Board of Education policy #5145.15 form #1, Denial of Permission To Release Certain Directory Information Without Prior Written Consent, is available at the Seymour High School Guidance Office.
