Scholarships are added when they become known and are received by the Transition Department.
There are so many scholarships out there...we will try to post only a few here to get you started.

Restrictions:
Persons enrolling in a 4-year course leading to a Bachelor's degree are not eligible.
This grant may not be used for part-time study, correspondence schools, or courses at or below high school level.
A course must be a minimum of sixty (60) days of continuous full time study.
Resident Alien status does not qualify - you must be a U.S. Citizen
Award: Awards will be between $500 and $2,000 for an academic year depending on length of course.
The Vocational Grant is for one academic year, with an option to renew for one additional academic year.
This grant may be used only for usual and required costs of student’s course of study; that is, for tuition and fees, room and board (if living on campus) and books & supplies.
Application Open: Year Round
DUE: Application must be submitted 3 to 6 months before your course begins.
Justification must be provided for applications submitted more than six months prior to school start date.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must...
(1) be a United States citizen on the date the application is filed;
(2) be a resident of California or Hawaii;
(3) be planning to pursue an eligible vocational or technical (voc/tech) course in the United States resulting in a certificate or two year degree and leading to employment opportunities.
(5) attend their program full time (a minimum of 12 semester credit hours).
What Students need to do:
Complete the application NEATLY - Typewritten applications and statements are preferred over handwritten submissions. ( Evaluation will include neatness and completeness of application. )
Application and supporting documents must be in English
Application must be submitted on paper. Do NOT submit your application electronically.

Budget information - you must provide estimated cost of school and student/parent contribution. Round off to the nearest dollar.
Use additional sheets if needed.
After completing this application, make a photo-copy for your own records. All original paper applications become the property of the California-Hawaii Elks Association.
