Dear Teachers,
Your Transition Department was able to acquire some electronic assessments of paper favorites, as well as some new online tools for you to try out for a limited time.
On this page you will find links to information pages or introductory videos for the new products we have acquired. I've tried to find some videos that will help provide a preview of these online tools.

High functioning ILS/TRACE students can benefit from the videos and LAP assessements, and while students with lower academic skills can access the videos, they may need check for understanding.

Identifies recommended career areas based on user feedback on their likes and dislikes of general, everyday activities.

Some of you may be familiar with the free site. But did you know that they have upgraded it with some new features? But you have to pay for those premium features.
We have some licenses for the PAID version of this program, which include local (San Mateo county) connections to industry leaders, and more features for lesson planning and sharing.

San Mateo County Office of Education are involved in customizing the premium version for San Mateo County, and will be providing training on the paid versions.
Department of Rehabiliation is familiar with this platform and could use when working with your students.

Student Licenses are good for 3 years. After 3 years your feedback will help us determine if we should contiue the licences.

Digital versions have been purchased for some of your favorite paper assessments from JIST publishing
We tried to purchase a variety of assessments to cover all areas of the ITP.
Digital Assessments are self scoring. Students should be able to score their own paper assessments.
Limits:
Limited number of licenses available per digital assessment
Assessment keys for digital versions only valid for 1 year. As such, we will likely be purchasing in Late May for use during 21-22 school year.
Generally recommended for RSP students. PICS is appropriate for students who have lower academic skills.
DIgital Licenses come in bundles of 25, and each bundle gets only 1 teacher access key, so we encourage partnering with another teacher if you have small caseloads.
