Helena Wei

Helena Wei, piano faculty and Assistant Program Chair of the Emeritus Program of San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCD), has spent over four decades pioneering innovative approaches in adult piano pedagogy, earning multiple awards for teaching excellence. She leads several key initiatives, including the Emeritus Annual Benefit Concert, the "Passport to Success" onboarding program, and the San Diego Amateur Pianist International Competition. A passionate educator and performer, Wei continuously appeared as a guest solo artist with the New City Sinfonia. Her work has been featured in SDCCE’s "WE" Magazine and the San Diego Union-Tribune, and she continues to inspire learners and educators globally through masterclasses, workshops, and international performances.
