Find your email address
On this page, we will find your student email address. You will need to access your student portal which will require your 10 digit student number and portal password. After completing this section, write down your student email address and go to the next section, Logging into the account and setting up multifactor authentication.
Method 1: Note from district
If you have kept the email sent by the district, it has your student email on it. If you already know it, write it down and then you can move to the next step (Log into your email account).
Method 2: Find in your student portal
Locate your 10 digit student number and password: Help if you forgot your password
Have you forgotten your portal password? If so, go to your portal and find help.
Open myportal.sdccd.edu
Tap “forgot your password” and try to answer security questions.
If you cannot answer the questions, you will need to reset. For this, you can visit a campus or sign up for one-on-one session with virtual student services (https://sdcce.edu/services/virtual-student-services) . You will need a government issued picture ID to reset your password.
WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSWORD so you remember it.
2. Go to the portal and open the student dashboard
Open browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari)
Sign into https://myportal.sdccd.edu
Enter your 10 digit student number and portal password (see above if you cannot remember your password)
Click on your student dashboard
3. Find email address in Quick Links> Personal information
Click on Student Quicklinks to open the options
Scroll to the bottom and select Personal Information
Select the tab "email addresses"
You will see your student email on the top line. It will be the email which ends in @student.sdccd.edu
Write it down.
You now have your new SDCCD email address!
