Meagan Albrant

About

Meagan Albrant has been teaching in the Emeritus Program at the San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) since 2018. She holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in American History. She mentored under the great Rediscovering San Diego team of instructors and has fallen in love with exploring the city and beyond with wonderful groups of Emeritus students. Meagan also developed and began teaching Rediscovering US History during the pandemic, exploring often overlooked figures and events in American history. When she isn't teaching, Meagan also works for the U.S. Navy as a civilian, a career she has pursued over the last 17 years. Outside of teaching and work, Meagan loves spending time with her husband and two boys, ages 7 and 9, preferably at Disneyland! If she can't be riding roller coasters, she loves to be baking, crafting, and throwing parties. She also serves on her local PTA board and enjoys volunteering to help at her sons' elementary school.
