I hope this reaches her in time
While I was reading this book, I felt like R.H. Sin was speaking to me. One of the interesting facts about R.H. Sin is that he has the power to connect with his readers in all ways. This poetry collection book is basically about loving yourself even though it might bring heartbreak. This book is in a from of a phone call.
"Telling her that she's beautiful/while destroying her confidence is abuse/ telling her you love her/while acting as if you hate her/is abuse/filling her up with false hope/with no intention of changing/or doing better is abuse/ until next time, talk to you soon.../(call ends...)" ~ R.H. Sin
This is the last poem in this book. Here R.H. Sin ends the call waiting for next time. This poem is my favorite because insincere people surround us at times and we believe every word they say without knowing their venom has poisoned us.
whiskey words and a shovel II
This series is so beautiful. It has lots of powerful poems that all have a clear message of: love yourself even if it means you will lose your partner.
"It's difficult/It's been painful/It's been weighing you down/You know it's time to let go/You know you deserve more/You know he's not who he used/To be/Blinded by love/Your emotions betray you/Every time/It's the constant battle/Between/What you know/And how you feel." ~ R. H. Sin
This poem shows how you should let go of those who have betrayed you. This series teaches you that you are stronger than you can imagine.
rest in the mourning
This collection of poetry is about self love and self care. R.H. Sin presents a handful of unhealthy relationship poems and there are lots of poems of explaining why the heart ends up with those who don't deserve it.
"Place distance in between/Yourself and the things/That keep you up at night/distance yourself/from anyone who robs you/Of peace and joy." ~ R. H. Sin
This poem explains a lot. We should always distance ourselves from those who steal our peace and joy of life.
planting gardens in graves vol. III
This series shares the themes of connections, heartbreak and mourns. In this series I learned a lot of things and one of them is: you deserve something special, don't go look for something that isn't as precious as you. R.H. Sin is teaching his readers a lesson to always look within themselves because that's where you find your true worth!
"This is what I did differently/I didn't go searching for love/I looked within myself/For everything my exes/refused to give me/And I realized that the things/I could never get were always/Living within my own heart." ~ R. H. Sin
