Routes

Your child may only ride on the bus that they are assigned. Each bus driver has a list of students to pick up at each location. 

If your child's transportation plan should change during the course of the program, you must send a note with your child for the teacher, or send an email to pseek@scred.k12.mn.us. This must be done at least 24 hours in advance of a transportation change. If no note or email is received, we will follow the original transportation arrangements that were indicated on your child's registration form. 

Also, please understand that we cannot alter or change the bus route in any way.

Bus Pick Up (Morning)

We do not have staff at each bus site to supervise students. It is your responsibility to stay with your child until the bus arrives in the morning.

Plan to arrive at the pick-up location at least five minutes prior to the leave time. Busses cannot wait for students who are late to the bus stop — they will leave on time. If you arrive at the bus stop after the bus has left, you will need to transport your child to North Branch Area Middle School.

Behavior Expectations

Bus drivers, parents, and the students themselves each have responsibilities in ensuring that buses remain a safe method of transportation for your child. 

Project SEEK does not have bus monitors. We expect the same exemplary behavior on the bus as we expect while at SEEK. Every student who rides the school bus should know and practice the rules of school bus safety.

Consequences for school bus or bus stop misconduct will apply to all Project SEEK routes. Decisions regarding a student’s ability to ride the bus will be at the discretion of the bus driver and Project SEEK staff directly handling any issues.
