Monday, May 9th--SAS Testing
Happy Monday,
Today was the first of 3 SAS testing days. I hope that the reading test went well for you. Is there anything that you would like to share today?
May 9th marks the celebration of Butterscotch Brownies. Are you a fan of the Butterscotch Brownie? We will find out.
Celtics basketball recap and an Egg Month celebration. We will once again check out the L.A. Beast. This time he is going to set a record for the most raw eggs cracked and eaten with the shell in 4 minutes...He will eat the shell first and then the eggs...NASTY!

I hope that you are having an amazing week!
Today, we celebrate the Hostess Cupcake. On May 11th, we celebrate the date in 1919 when the first Hostess Cupcake was sold. At the time, 2 cupcakes sold for 5 cents. 2019 marked the 100th anniversary of the Cupcake. They certainly aren't the same price anymore. The recipe for today is a cream filled cupcake, similar to the Hostess Cupcake. Are you a fan? What percentage of 6-2 students will enjoy this particular food item. We will find out.
Next up are some Hostess cupcake records. Geoff Esper will attempt to eat 80 Hostess Cupcakes, while Matt Stonie will attempt a 7 pound Hostess styled cupcake. Which is more impressive?
Maybe some additional World Records as well.

Thursday, May 12th--Early Release
Happy Thursday, I hope that you are having an amazing week so far. Do you have any exciting plans for the afternoon?
With the shorter classes, the fun will be limited. After the daily fact practice, we will explore a recipe for Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge. Are you a fan? What percentage of 6-2 students will enjoy this particular food item?
After that, some pricing fun, world records, and we can't forget about the hidden picture.

Happy Friday! I hope that you will have a chance to enjoy the amazing weather predicted for this upcoming weekend! Do you have anything to share today?
First up is Chocolate Chip Day. Celebrated each year on May 15th, we will learn how to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip. Are you a fan? What percentage of 6-2 students will enjoy this creamy item?
Next is a celebration of Frog Jumping. Celebrated each May, this year the Calaveras County Fair and Frog Jumping Jubilee will be held from May 19-22nd, although Frog Jumping day is today, May 13th. With the first modern frog jump held in 1928, this event continues to this day. We will learn about it.
If there is more time left, Matt Stonie will show us how to eat 50 scrambled eggs. How long will it take him?
