Monday, December 6th--
Happy Monday and welcome to Trimester 2! I hope that you had an amazing weekend and that you are rested and ready to go for the upcoming week! As we start another week together, we will begin by celebrating Egg Nog. Did you know that December is National Egg Nog Month? The recipe for today are Mini Egg Nog Cheesecakes. Are you a fan? We will find out. We will also use this recipe to continue exploring fraction multiplication and division.

Monday means sports...since the Patriots don't play until tonight, we will check in on the Celtics and chat about how many games they should win this season....

Happy Tuesday! Let's celebrate National Cotton Candy Day! A sweet treat, it was originally developed by dentist William Morrison and confectioner John C. Wharton in 1897. How many years ago was that? In France, Cotton Candy is called Barbe a papa which means papa’s beard....to celebrate, we will learn how to make Cotton Candy Ice Cream Sandwiches. Are you a fan? We will find out.
In conjunction with National Cotton Candy Day, we will chat about unit price. Which is the better buy?
After reviewing the Patriots game from Monday night, we will have some pricing fun. The game this week is Grand Game. After 365 playings, it has been won 122 times...What makes this game so hard?

Happy Wednesday! Let's celebrate National Brownie Day! It appears as though 2 billion brownies were consumed in 1988. Additionally, did you know that 60% of people go nutless with their brownies? Finally, 36% of people love those corners.
