October 12th marks the celebration of Pumpkin Pie Day. To celebrate, we will check out how to make Pumpkin Pie bites. Are you a fan? We will find out. We will also look at this recipe and use it to have a discussion about fraction multiplication and division.
Speaking of Pumpkin Pie, we will check out a quick video exploring a really large pie that was made in 2010. How many floor tiles would it take up in the classroom?
Also, we will check out Frosted Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts. What would be the unit price?

Pricing fun, lets explore the Check-Out game, played for a mid-level prize. The contestant needs to guess the actual price of 5 items found in a grocery store to win. After 169 documented playings, it has been won 70 times.
