Monday, November 29th--
Happy Monday! I hope that you had a wonderful break and that you are rested and ready to go for the next few weeks! As we start another week together, we will begin by celebrating National Lemon Cream Pie Day. The recipe for today is Lemon Meringue Pie. Are you a fan? We will find out. We will also use this recipe to continue exploring fraction multiplication and division.
Monday means sports, so we will review the Patriots Box Score from Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Tennessee Titans by a score of 36-13 at home. Mac Jones had another great day, completing 23 of his 32 attempted passes...what percentage is this?
We will also spend some time starting some fact review, which we will continue over the next few weeks. First up is addition.

Let's finish the week strong! Did you know that tomorrow, December 4th is National Cookie Day? To celebrate this fun holiday, we will check out how to make Cheesecake Stuffed Cookies. Are you a fan? We will find out and as usual work with the recipe, which makes 24 servings.
December 4th is also National Dice Day….do you know the largest number of faces possible on a fair dice?
