Today, May 16th is National Barbecue Day. To celebrate, we will check out a recipe for Barbecue Chicken Meatballs. Are you a fan? Can you work with the recipe? What percentage of 6-2 students will enjoy this particular food item?
Speaking of Barbecue...did you know that there is a "saucy" record? We will check out the most "Saucy Face" Push-ups in 30 seconds...what is the rate of speed.
Following an exciting Game 7 by the Celtics, we will chat about the results and explore the box score.
Coordinates and Trapezoids will be the focus of our learning this week...

May 16th, was Sea Monkey Day. Popular in the 1960's and 1970's, Sea Monkeys are sold as eggs that can then be added to water in their aquarium-like tank, along with a variety of specialist chemicals to encourage them to hatch....Finally, May 19th is National Scooter Day. To celebrate, we will check out a record for the World’s longest scooter and the World’s fastest mobility scooter.
The world record for this week..most iron bars bent with the head in one minute...

Happy Friday! I hope that you had an amazing week! I hope that you will make it another great day today!
Each year, we celebrate National Strawberries and Cream Day on May 21st. Strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside. In addition, over 53 percent of seven to nine-year-olds picked strawberries as their favorite fruit. The recipe for today is a Strawberries and Cream Sheet Cake. Are you a fan? What percentage of 6-2 students will like this particular food item?
Following this, more fun with strawberries. This will include strawberries dipped in chocolate along with strawberry shortcake eating....
If there is even more time, let's once again celebrate egg month by watching some scrambled egg eating...
Maybe even some pricing fun...10 chances is the game today.
