As we start another week together, the holiday fun will continue. Each year on February 7th, we celebrate National Fettuccine Alfredo Day. We will check out how to make Chicken Alfredo Penne. Are you a fan? Can you work with the recipe? Did you know that Fettuccine Alfredo was named in 1914? How many years ago was that?
On Sunday, February 6th, we celebrated Chopsticks Day...so many records to choose from. We will check out a record for throwing chopsticks into an archery target. How many was he able to stick in one minute?
Today, February 7th is also Play More Cards Day. To celebrate, we will check out a record for the Tallest House of Cards. How tall do you think the house of cards was?...It had to stand for 10 minutes.

Tuesday, February 8th--
Happy Tuesday! Today, we celebrate National Molasses Bar Day. Of course, we will check out how to make Molasses Bars. Are you a fan? Can you work with the recipe?
Today is also National Kite Flying Day. We will learn about a kiteboarding record and check out some large kites.
Tuesday also means The Price Is Right...Line Em Up is the game this week....after 177 playings, 82 wins. Is it likely that a contestant will win?
We will also revisit chopsticks, talk about cards, and more!

Today, we celebrate National Pizza Day. Did you know that the average pizza place uses roughly 55 pizza boxes per day? Or that Americans consume around 251,770,000 pounds of pepperonis every year? Or that 93 percent of Americans have eaten pizza in the last month?

It is also National Umbrella Day. We will check out a unique world record for the most golf ball bounces on a sand wedge in 30 seconds while wearing two wigs, strength shoes and holding an umbrella. We will also learn about the world's largest umbrella.
After that, some Matt Stonie and pizza. He will take on eating a 26 inch pizza....how long will it take? If we have already done that, some Price Is Right....The Price Is Right...Line Em Up is the game this week....after 177 playings, 82 wins. Is it likely that a contestant will win? I hope that you had a great week. Do you have any plans for the upcoming weekend?
Each year on February 11th, we celebrate National Peppermint Patty Day. The first peppermint patties were produced in 1940, but only were sold in Northeastern states until 1975. There is a Charlie Brown character named Peppermint Patty...her real name is Patricia Reichardt. To celebrate, we will check out a recipe for Mint Patties, learn abut the nutrition facts for peppermint patties and even check out someone eating peppermint patties.
