Project Initiation
The year’s GeoTech Seniors participated in an internship program in the city of Guayabillas, Honduras. This was our first Science. Technology. Engineering. & Math (STEM) project with TeleSquads/Global Brigades. We presented the project via zoom to the local community members.
Project Exploration and Development
Students will spend the next 12 weeks working with local engineers to assess, design, and construct infrastructure projects that range from rainwater harvesters that supply drinking water for local schools to large scale community-wide water systems that pipe water directly into households.
