San Diego Unified students are building, designing, and solving real-world problem, and this is your chance to see it all in action!
Join us for the 2026 District Showcase of Learning on Wednesday, April 29 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Lincoln High School. This free, districtwide event brings together 150 student-led projects that highlight the incredible work happening across our schools.
From student-built drones and tiny homes to living ecosystems and culinary creations, the Showcase offers a hands-on look at how students are developing future-ready skills through CTE pathways, Project-Based Learning, Visual and Performing Arts, and Community Schools initiatives.
Families, staff, students, and community members are all invited to explore exhibits, connect with programs, and experience the innovation happening across San Diego Unified. This is more than a showcase—it’s a celebration of student voice, creativity, and opportunity.
We hope to see you there!
The District Showcase of Learning is the culminating event to exhibit Project-Based Learning, CCTE Pathway Projects and works from Visual and Performing Arts programs in San Diego Unified School District. These projects explore the arts, community related challenges, industry focused objectives and are personally relevant to students. Industry professionals, local artists and community members assess projects by referencing the 6 A’s of PBL: authenticity, academic rigor, adult relationships, applied learning, active exploration, & assessment. Project websites and student Presentations of Learning (POLs) support the in-person showcase and are viewable on the 2025 CCTE Innovation Showcase Website.
