Any student with a current Individualized Educational Program (IEP) may take any combination of courses within the areas of the curriculum continuum in general and/or special education as indicated by the educational needs and abilities listed on the program. Collaborative classes are offered jointly by special and general education instructors.
Non-diploma-bound curricula
Functional and Applied courses do not meet requirements for graduation with a diploma. Special education students with IEP’s stating that they are non- diploma bound may earn a letter of recognition at the end of their high school or post-high school years upon completion of his or her IEP goals.
