A college level course designed to prepare students to pass the Advanced Placement exam in psychology. Emphasizes the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomenon associated with each of the major subfields within psychology: biological basis of behavior, sensation and perceptions, learning, cognition, motivation and emotions, developmental psychology, personality, testing, abnormal psychology, treatment of psychological disorders and social psychology.
